Increasing energy awareness and improving energy efficiency in our schools
The School Energy Efficiency Program (SEE) helps public school districts and county offices in Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) service area to identify, evaluate and implement energy efficiency retrofit measures. The program recommends projects that reduce energy use and school operating costs while providing an improved learning environment for teachers and students. Increasing energy efficiency also benefits the environment by conserving our natural resources and reducing air emissions. PG&E has contracted with CLEAResult, a third-party energy efficiency implementation specialist, to implement the program.
The program is open to K-12 public school districts and county education offices in approved counties within PG&E’s service area that receive gas or electric service from PG&E. Customers located outside of these approved counties will be considered for program participation on a case-by-case basis. Government agencies may also be eligible (consult your PG&E account representative to determine if you qualify). The program focuses on retrofit and retro-commissioning projects; new construction is excluded.

This program is funded by California utility customers and administered by PG&E under the auspices of the California Public Utilities Commission.
